Who is allowed to operate an excavator?

In principle, only those who have been trained and authorized by the employer are allowed to operate an excavator. The basis for this is the DGUV Regulation 1 and the DGUV Principle 101-005.

Physical and mental suitability
Proof of training (excavator certificate)
